Idaho Man Charged with Killing Elderly Father

MERIDIAN, Idaho (KTVB) -- Meridian Police have arrested 60-year-old Anthony Conner for the murder of his 87-year-old father Otis Conner in January 2013.

Anthony Conner was under investigation by Meridian Police after he reported finding his father's dead body, claiming that Otis had fallen from a ladder. Anthony Conner was arrested around 9:30 p.m. at a Meridian local fitness club. The coroner ruled that Otis Conner died from blunt force trauma to the head.

Anthony Conner was arrested after an Ada County Grand Jury returned an indictment for first degree murder, grand theft, forgery, and concealing evidence. Conner was arrested without incident and is currently in the Ada County Jail on a $1 million bond.
