Idaho Man Dies After Job Injury

CALDWELL -- A Caldwell man died this morning at a Boise hospital after being injured at work. The Ada County coroner said 30-year-old Ernesto A. Paramo Bernal was pronounced dead at 10:33 a.m. at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. He had been transported to the hospital after sustaining an injury at his job at Superior Steel Products, Inc. in Caldwell. Police are still investigating and have not released much details about the incident.

We are told the facility is at 104 Industrial Way in Caldwell and the call came into police dispatch around 9 a.m. The coroner says an autopsy is planned for Tuesday and he hopes to release more details tomorrow about how Bernal died. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has also been called in to investigate the man's death.
