BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A man police say drove drunk and crashed his pickup truck into a house has been taken into custody. Boise police say 25-year-old Nicki Sanders smashed his truck through the house and ended up in the living room at about 2 a.m. Friday. Authorities say a man and woman sleeping upstairs weren't injured. Because of extensive damage on the first floor, firefighters say they used a ladder to get the couple and their dog out of the house. Sanders has been booked into the Ada County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Court Nov. 13. A damage estimate to the house wasn't available.
