You might think that not ending up on a list of the states with the worst drivers would be a good thing. I disagree. Idaho is not anywhere on a just-released driver ranking and that's a problem.

one of the reasons that Idaho didn't even make the top 25 is the fact that we've all become so talented at avoiding accidents due to the every day Fast & The Furious wanna-be's that we have to deal with

Smart Asset released this new data breaking down all the factors that make people drive like nut cases including number of insured in each state, DUI's, deaths and driving tickets. I can't argue with their methodology, but I'm puzzled why Idaho is nowhere to be found on their worst states list.

Which state is worst? Florida, according to them. I've never been to Florida, so I can't dispute the claim that they suck behind the wheel. BUT, if there is one thing we pride ourselves in here in Idaho, it's being awful drivers.

Have you watched "drivers" try to merge onto Blue Lakes from Pole Line? It's like watching NASCAR drivers peel out of the pit lane in Daytona.

I do have a theory that maybe one of the reasons that Idaho didn't even make the top 25 is the fact that we've all become so talented at avoiding accidents due to the every day Fast & The Furious wanna-be's that we have to deal with.

One non-surprise was Nevada making the top 10 worst drivers list thanks in no small part to their biblical amount of speeding tickets. If you travel the drag strip known as Highway 93, you know the sensation of watching Nevada plates blur as they fly past you.
