Forget visiting the Idaho State Capital Building if you want to educate your kids about Idaho. The place you really need to go is the Idaho Potato Museum in Blackfoot, Idaho.

At the museum, you can learn about Idaho agricultural, history, artistic information and more. One of the most important things you will get to see is the World's Largest Styrofoam potato. There is also a tribute to Mr. Potato Head, a burlap tuxedo that was worn by Idaho's first Potato Commissioner and a burlap rodeo queen outfit.

Out of all the things in the museum, the item that impresses me the most is the largest potato chip. The chip measures at 25" x 14" and holds a certificate for the world's largest potato chip in the Guinness World Record.

If you visit the museum in the summer, you can purchase potato fudge, potato ice cream and potato cookies.
