TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – The Idaho Department of Labor was recently awarded a $1.09 million grant to help improve access for job seekers to available resources. The grant comes from the U.S. Department of Labor.

Idaho is one of more than 40 states and territories receiving funds from the Reemployment & Systems Integration National Dislocated Worker Grants to provide seed money for solutions to improving connectivity.

According to information from IDL, projects will focus on integrated case management, increased accessibility to services through customized online tools, and providing workforce agencies with real-time data to identify and address layoff trends within industries and develop responses or layoff aversion strategies.
