HAILEY, Idaho (KLIX) – A Twin Falls woman was among those taken to the hospital today following a multi-vehicle crash on State Highway 75 near Spruce Way, north of Hailey.

Idaho State Police investigated the crash that occurred around 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

According to ISP, Hailey resident Anna D. Jensen, 67, was driving northbound on the highway in a 2004 Volvo C70 when she slowed for traffic turning near Spruce Way. Brian J. Harvey, 36, of Boise was also northbound on  in a 2015 Subaru Outback. Harvey failed to stop for traffic ahead of him and ran into the back of the Volvo.

Upon impact, the Volvo was pushed into oncoming traffic and collided with a 2014 Toyota Tacoma, which was traveling southbound on SH75, driven by Sean P. Evangelista, 43, of Ketchum.

Jensen, Harvey, and Evangelista were all taken by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Wood River Hospital.  Evangelista had two passengers in his vehicle, Jessica L. Viglienzoni, 36, of Twin Falls and a minor female child, who were also taken by ground ambulance to the hospital.

All occupants were wearing their seat belts, according to ISP. The child was wearing a seat belt but was not in an approved child safety seat.

The roadway was blocked for about two hours while crews cleared the scene.

HAILEY, Idaho (KLIX) – Idaho State Police is at the scene of an injury crash at milepost 117 on State Highway 75, just north of Hailey. All lanes of travel are currently blocked.
