Inmate Escapes from Wallace Jail

WALLACE, Idaho (AP) — The Shoshone County sheriff's office says it is looking for a 48-year-old inmate who escaped Tuesday night from the north Idaho county's jail. KHQ-TV of Spokane, Washington, reports that officials say inmate Roy Bieluch escaped from the jail in Wallace, Idaho. Deputies say Bieluch was booked into jail on Dec. 12 for investigation of burglary, malicious injury to property, theft and failure to appear in court. They say he used to live in Kellogg, Idaho. It wasn't clear late Tuesday night how the man escaped.
