I have a plum tree that until this year I didn't know was a plum tree. It had never produced fruit in the 5 years I've lived there until this year, and the fruit is really good. The problem I have is that the birds are also now aware of how good it is and the fruit has been disappearing really fast.

I went out yesterday to pick a bowl of plums before they all disappeared and found the mess in the picture above. I'll admit that I am a very picky eater. But I got to thinking, i this the pickiest bird in Twin Falls? It won't even eat the skins from the fruit. Or, is it a polite bird who is leaving a pile of mess instead of leaving a mess all over the yard?

Either way I'm going out again today to get the rest of the plums before the polite/picky bird comes back.
