Business Insider just shared a study of how much money young people make across the country. If accurate, the numbers do not look good for the youth of Idaho.

The research covers anyone born between 1981 and 1997 asking how much annual income this demographic makes. The study does allow for the fact that many in this age bracket have part-time jobs while going to school. But, that affects all states and not just Idaho.

According to Business Insider, Idaho ranks 49th in the country tied with West Virginia for the lowest median income for youth. If you're a recent graduate with big-time student loan debt, that's not good news.

Median income for employees in general in Idaho is $30,000. For the young age group, it's only $19,000. Wonder if this also means the sale of ramen noodles is high in Idaho?
