Jerome Wants to Clean Up Skate Park

Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) The Jerome Police Department is looking for a little help in keeping order at the Skate Park. When it was initially built, the Jerome Skate Park was a shining gem for the city. But now, the amount of garbage piling up and a few minor disorderly conduct issues has caused the city to take a look at how it's running. At Tuesday’s City Council Meeting, the council along with the Jerome Police Department discussed their options.

The leading option was to give the police department the authority to ban an individual from the park for 24 to 48 hours. This way those who are breaking the rules will be punished, but won't have to deal with legal ramifications.
