TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) The Boys & Girls Club of the Magic Valley got a boost from coffee after a recent fund raiser.

Twin Falls coffee shop Dutch Bros handed a $5,306 check to the club after money made from sales on National Coffee Day collected on September 29. The coffee franchise decided to join their annual fund raiser Buck for Kids Day with the national day. Usually Buck for Kids Day falls the first Friday in December. A dollar from each cup of coffee, or other item, sold went to support the Boys & Girls Club.

“I’m a kid at heart and love supporting the great opportunities for children to play, grow and receive care through Buck for Kids Day,” said Dutch Bros, Co-founder Travis Boersma. “We are grateful for the work these organizations do every day to support our children and communities.”

Buck for Kids Day is a company wide effort by Dutch Bros were money goes to local organizations around each coffee stand.
