TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) Magic Valley voters will head to the polls this November to elect city council members while several school districts will be asking voters to approve funding. Early voting is already underway in many parts of the state as the November 7 election day approaches. A number of school districts have placed ballot initiatives for citizens to vote on in hopes they will pass.
The Filer School District #413
Filer schools are seeking to renew a supplemental levy of $500,000 a year for two years for a total of a $1 million. The annual rate for a home valued at $100,000 should result in roughly $46.82 a year. Funds will help continue current programs and keep class sizes small.

Joint School District #331
The district that includes Minidoka, Cassia, Jerome and Lincoln counties is asking voters to approve a supplemental levy of $2,225,000 a year for the next two years.

Shoshone Joint School District #312
Shoshone School District is seeking approval for a general obligation school bond for $6,000,000 for a number of facility upgrades and new buildings: new classroms, new high school, new multipurpose facility, new vocational building.
The interest rate is estimated at 2.95% or $2,129,400
