If the National Weather Service is correct, spring in the Magic Valley will be warmer and maybe even slightly wetter than normal. The indications for March, April and May appear to show that we'll above average temps. Either that, or a big orange band will appear in the sky next to a red one. Probably not that.

When it comes to precipitation, being in the white area should mean a typical spring for rain. However, you'll notice that the Magic Valley is right on the edge of that green thing where moisture will be greater.

There is an in-depth discussion for true weather nerds only that explains these maps.

What can we determine from these maps? Only one thing for certain. Spring is almost here!
