TWIN FALLS, Id. (KMVT/KSVT) A Jerome man, who has been charged in connection to a robbery at Dick’s Pharmacy in Twin Falls on December 14, 2015 was bound over to district court Thursday morning, after waiving his preliminary hearing.

Danial Eugene Quintana 53, was found unconscious in the driver’s seat of a van discovered in Buhl about three hours after the robbery. Meanwhile, Adam Townsend, 27 was found dead in the passenger seat. Townsend, police say, was the robber. Quintana has been charged with Felony possession of a controlled substance. Police say he was found in possession of Fentanyl. That’s a drug that has been described as more potent than morphine.

During the robbery Townsend took 10 fentanyl patches, according to police. Quintana told police he was driving Townsend around the day of the robbery. When rescue workers arrived to assist Quintana, a box of Fentanyl patches fell out from between his legs. A fentanyl patch was later found in his mouth.
