TWIN FALLS -(AP)- Authorities say a south-central Idaho man who was seriously injured in a gas tank explosion is being treated at a Utah burn center. The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office says 36-year-old Fred Cronmiller was demolishing an old vehicle early Wednesday when accidentally he cut into the fuel line and the vehicle’s gas tank exploded, setting him on fire. The sheriff’s office says nearby farm workers rushed to Cronmiller’s aid and pushed him into a canal to extinguish the flames. Cronmiller was taken to a Twin Falls hospital and then airlifted to a burn center in Salt Lake City. He was listed in serious condition.
