BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Ada County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a shooting that they suspect is connected to a road-rage incident.

The sheriff's office says a man was shot once in the leg in a Walgreens parking lot near Boise on Wednesday evening. The man was taken to a local hospital, and his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. A suspect was detained for questioning but was not arrested Wednesday night.

Ada County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Andrea Dearden says the pair were arguing on a nearby road, and the argument became physical when they both entered the parking lot.

The shooting remains under investigation.
