After selling off Mojang and the Minecraft brand, Markus "Notch" Perssen took some of that money and ran to Hollywood where he dropped $70 million on a new home. Not long after, a Minecraft did what a Minecrafter does, and rebuilt the palatial estate in the game.

We've seen some pretty awesome recreations from Minecraft users as of late, such as Team Lopac's Endurance recreation. However, when Minecraft creator and ex-Mojang head Markus "Notch" Persson bought a new house, we knew it was only a matter of time until someone recreated it. The guy that took one for the team was Dan Bovey, and he not only recreated Notch's mansion, but also the video tour the real estate agent put together to show off the actual home.

The mansion, as pointed out by Kotaku, isn't exactly a complete replica, but we'll be giving Bovey a break. We'll just have to wait and see if anyone else takes up the task of recreating Notch's humongous mansion. If anyone else ever does, then we can compare to see which is the most true-to-form.

For now, you can check out Bovey's recreation above and take a few notes on how you can make it better.
