MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Authorities in Idaho say skeletal remains found near Bonner's Ferry are those of a Libby man who had been missing for more than a year.

The Missoulian reported Monday that the Boundary County coroner has not announced a cause of death for 32-year-old William Tebby. The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office plans to continue investigating the circumstances surrounding Tebby's May 30, 2014, disappearance.

Tebby's family says he was last seen at the Libby VFW. Bar patrons says Tebby stepped outside to smoke. Lincoln County Undersheriff Brent Faulkner says Tebby's remains were found Oct. 12 on a gravel bar in the Kootenai River where worker were clearing brush.
