Our favorite weapon-stealing, super-fighting robot is having even more of his classics released on the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

Capcom has announced that Mega Man Battle Network is now available for GBA and Wii U on Nintendo's Virtual Console. This 2001 re-imagining of Mega Man as a role-playing game mixed with a cyberspace-infused story is one of the best revamps we have ever seen for an old franchise.

Throughout the month of August, a new Mega Man title will be released on the Nintendo eShop every Thursday. These titles include Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge (GBA), Mega Man X3 (SNES), Mega Man 5 (NES) and Mega Man 6 (NES). Unfortunately, Capcom claims that we won't know the order of these releases until we check the eShop each Thursday and find out what was added. Now if only we could get Mega Man Legends 3 for Nintendo 3DS.
