It's a great thing to say "Merry Christmas" and display your holiday spirit. It's yet another to combine that with incredible patriotism. But, that is exactly what this family did as a tribute to veterans everywhere.

Maybe you saw this display that won a contest on Good Morning, America a few years ago. It was created by a family that not only paid tribute to America, but also raise money for the Semper Fi Fund. This is the stated mission of this organization from their website.

The Semper Fi Fund provides immediate financial assistance and lifetime support to post 9/11 wounded, critically ill and injured members of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, and their families, ensuring that they have the resources they need during their recovery and transition back to their communities. We work to ensure that no one is left behind.
