MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho (KTVB) - An airman died while hunting about 10 miles west of the Mountain Home Air Force Base Sunday, officials said.

Search and rescue teams had been looking for 38-year-old Nathanial A. Kibodeaux, who had left for a duck hunting trip on Saturday, but did not return that day as planned. The Elmore County Sheriff's Office said two airmen, who were friends of Kibodeaux found his body along the Snake River near Grandview.

The airman was a member of the 366th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at the Mountain Home Air Force Base. The death is under investigation, but the sheriff's office said they do not suspect foul play.
