MANDAREE, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified the two men who were killed after their vehicle struck a cow that was wandering on a road in western North Dakota. The Patrol says the victims were 27-year-old Kaleb Newel Steed of Mountain Home, Idaho, and 19-year-old Jake Alexander Holm of St. George, Utah. The patrol says the men's vehicle entered a ditch and rolled several times after striking the black cow Friday night about 12 miles east of Mandaree.

Authorities say Holm was wearing a seatbelt and Steed was not. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
