NAMPA, Idaho (AP) — One of three men arrested in connection to a fatal shooting in Nampa on Saturday has been charged with multiple felonies.

Court records show 20-year-old Alberto Chavez is charged in Canyon County with second-degree murder and destroying or concealing evidence. Chavez is accused of shooting 26-year-old Kyle Jackson who had reportedly been antagonizing drivers by yelling and waving a red bandanna. Chavez told police Jackson was a member of a rival gang and had slashed his face with a knife.

On Sunday, Nampa police attempted a traffic stop of Chavez and two other men. The driver fled. At least 10 patrol cars were involved in the pursuit, which reached speeds of up to 90 miles per hour, before the SUV rolled over outside Horseshoe Bend.
