New Company to Take Over School Bus Services

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - The Western States Bus services is changing ownership.

The bus service currently operating in Twin Falls, Filer, Buhl, and Valley school districts is a subsidiary of Mid Columbia Bus Company. Previous owners of Midco, the Flatt family, are selling their stock to Landmark Student transportation. Landmark is a family owned company with roots in the school bus business since 1958.

With the change in ownership, not much should shift in terms of the day to day operations from decision making to management. Midco will keep CEO and President David Lear, who emphasizes the importance of continuity in the new company philosophy.
