TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) Drivers using Falls Avenue and Hankins Road will find a new stop sign ahead of them.

The Twin Falls Highway District just installed an all-way stop at the intersection just north of the new Pillar Falls Elementary. District Manager Brian Lancaster says the signs will help with traffic flow around the school. It will also provide a safer crossing for children when they get out of school.

Falls at Hankins has never had a stop sign before. Lancaster says there are blinking red lights on the signs to alert drivers to stop. A number of intersections in Twin Falls have seen the addition of new stop signs to improve traffic flow and safety.
