The head of Nintendo of America and some of his executive staff take the ALS Association's Ice Bucket Challenge in front of the whole company, with Mario in attendance.

In response to Xbox honcho Phil Spencer's nomination, Reggie Fils-Aime, the President and Chief Operating Officer of Nintendo of America, has taken the ALS Association's Ice Bucket Challenge. As with many other recent trends, Nintendo might be a little bit late, but when they do something, it's always of the highest quality. And we commend them for their generosity and fun-loving nature. Fils-Aime not only donated, but encouraged most of his entire staff to donate along with bringing in some of Nintendo's other executive members to participate in the Ice Bucket Challenge with him.

Fils-Aime mentioned they held a raffle throughout Nintendo of America's offices to see who would be pouring the buckets over each of the company's execs. All proceeds from the raffle were donated towards the ALS Association. While Reggie didn't nominate anyone, we did have Mario in attendance to help oversee the day's festive and positive activities. Just look at the contraption they used to dump the ice water. If only Mario had his F.L.U.D.D. pack with him.
