BOISE, Idaho (AP) — The Boise city prosecutor says there won't be any charges filed against a driver who was involved in a collision that left a 13-year-old Boise girl with fatal injuries.

Chief deputy city attorney Stephen Rutherford told the Idaho Statesman that the 29-year-old Homedale woman who was driving the vehicle was going the speed limit, wasn't distracted and had a green light when the collision occurred on April 20.

Rutherford said 13-year-old Olivia Schnacker was riding her bicycle across a mid-block crosswalk with two other children when she collided with the Homedale woman's Buick. Rutherford said the children did not activate the crossing signal. Schnacker wasn't wearing a helmet. She died from her injuries two days later at a local hospital.
