Payette Man Taken to Hospital after Crashing Motorcycle
MERIDIAN, Idaho (KLIX) – A motorcyclist was transported to the hospital after he struck a vehicle this morning on Interstate 84.
According to the Idaho State Police, at a little after 7:30 a.m. today Lee W. Oeleis, 25, of Payette of was driving a 2001 Yamaha motorcycle on I-84 when he failed to yield to slowing traffic, striking the rear end of 2004 Dodge Neon driven by 28-year-old Nampa resident Vernon M. Blazor.
Oeleis was not wearing a helmet, according to ISP, and was transported to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. ISP did not say what his condition was at the time of the accident.
