Beat up gangs of Gorons while playing as Hyrule Warriors' main villains. Now if only the 1989 version of Link from 'The Legend of Zelda' cartoon was a DLC character.

Gematsu reports that Wizzro, Volga and Cia are going to be able to be playable in Hyrule Warriors in the form of downloadable content. Koei Tecmo announced the addition of these characters as well as unveiled Hyrule Warriors' DLC plans at the 2014 Tokyo Game Show. Volga looks like he's wearing the Red Tunic armor from Twilight Princess. Cia's cleavage is a telltale sign that she was likely designed by someone at Team Ninja. She's also the dark witch opposing the light witch, Lana, Link and Zelda's newest ally.

Hyrule Warriors' DLC will be released in four separate packs. There will also be a season pass-like group bundle you can buy, which will unlock the Dark Link costume for you to use in-game. Here is a list of all four packs:

  • Ura Zelda Musou Pack: October 16, 2014. 1200 yen (~$11.04). Includes one new weapon, a new scenario, an Adventure Map Pack, and two costumes.
  • Twilight Princess Pack: Late November 2014. 1200 yen (~$11.04). Includes one new character, one new weapon, an Adventure Map Pack, and two costumes.
