Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Animated Short (Updated)

Original Story:

This animated short has us hyped up for a new anime series based on Pokemon's Hoenn region.

The official Japanese YouTube account for Pokemon has released a short animated film that shows what it's going to be like playing Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. This animation reminds us of 'Pokemon Origins', which focused on the original Pokemon Red and Blue games, where Ash was not the main character and Pikachu wasn't the main Pokemon that fought alongside the protagonist (Red). We really hope that this Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire animation leads into a full-fledged anime series.

This four-minute-long animation focuses on the three starter Pokemon you can use in the Hoenn region and introduces you to all the crazy Mega Evolutions you can unlock. Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be launching on Nov. 21 for Nintendo 3DS.

Those are some Mega Pokemon in there, but are they sinister?
