TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – Police have arrested the suspect in a recent armed robbery that occurred at a local gas station and convenience store.

About 11 p.m. Sunday, Twin Falls Police were dispatched to the Old Towne Lodge, 248 Second Ave. West, where a citizen reportedly saw a male who matched the description of the suspected robber, according to a news release by the Twin Falls Police Department.

When officers arrived they saw Cody Meade, whose last known residence was Tennessee, flee on foot into a nearby alley. Police set up a perimeter and found the suspect hiding in a Dumpster. Meade was arrested without further incident.

Detectives were able to determine that Meade, 25, was the suspect involved in the May 26 armed robbery of an Oasis Stop ‘N Go on Blue Lakes Boulevard. He was subsequently charged with robbery and booked into the Twin Falls County Jail.
