Police Look for Suspect After Stabbing in Homedale

HOMEDALE, Idaho (AP) — Authorities say a man has been injured following a stabbing at a senior community in Homedale, about 40 miles west of Boise. KTVB-TV reports that the stabbing was reported Saturday afternoon at an apartment complex. Police say 77-year-old Eleuterio Billarreal was transported to a hospital where he underwent surgery.

Neighbors reported seeing the victim's son and a friend run outside the complex to find help and call 911 after the incident. Authorities are still searching for a suspect.
