Police: Meridian Hotel Robbed at Gunpoint

MERIDIAN, Idaho (AP) — Meridian Police are looking for a man who robbed a hotel at gunpoint and fled before officers arrived. Police say the night clerk at a La Quinta Inn was working in the laundry room when the man entered shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday. When the clerk went to the front desk, police say the man showed a handgun and demanded cash. Authorities say the robbery was captured on video but the quality is low.
