Police Search for Suspect in Armed Robbery (PHOTOS)

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – Police are searching for the suspect in an armed robbery that occurred late Thursday night.

Dispatch received a call at 11:53 p.m. from Oasis Stop 'N Go, 1390 Blue Lakes Blvd. N., saying that the store had been robbed by a male suspect who displayed a firearm.

The suspect is described as having dark hair with a goatee or facial hair, wearing a green or camouflage hat, and carrying a green bag. He also had tattoos on his face, according to city spokesman Joshua Palmer, but police did not have a description of the tattoo. He fled the store on foot, heading north on Blue Lakes.

Palmer said police thereafter notified other area businesses to alert them of the suspect.
