An Oregon woman is enduring the aftermath following a May 2023 sting operation in which it was determined she was selling drugs to kids out of her Tesla. The arrest took place in Lake Oswego, which is located seven miles south of Portland.

The fact this bust took place just outside the city of Portland is probably not surprising to most seeing that the area is known for being a sort of Wild West for drug use.

A 34-year-old Portland mom has finished serving a jail sentence after Oregon police charged her with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and child neglect after she was caught selling drugs to minors out of her car with her children in the back seat, according to details shared by East Bay Times. Magic mushrooms, alcohol, weed, and vape cartridges were all found to be in the woman's possession.

The irony in this story is the first thing that jumped out at me after I read about the arrest. Most people driving around and selling drugs from their automobiles aren't driving vehicles that average between $50,000 and $70,000 in cost. The fact this bust took place just outside the city of Portland is probably not surprising to most seeing that the area is known for being a sort of Wild West for drug use.

The worst thing about this offense is the fact young kids were present at the time, both in the back seat and on the receiving end of the drug buy.
