TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – The public is invited to comment over the next couple of months on proposed transportation projects. The online comment period will end Jan. 26.

The Idaho Transportation Department’s Public Transportation Office has $1.2 million available to fund capital projects, according to ITD, such as buying buses, improving structures or building new infrastructure.

Gathering public comment is the best way for the agency to know what public transportation users want and need, ITD says. With a limited pool of funds to draw from, public comment is critical to help in the application process of recommending which proposals receive money.

To view the proposals and give feedback, visit this ITD website or contact Rachel Pallister at Rachel.Pallister@itd.idaho.gov or 208-334-8822.
