SideQuest Studios has unveiled the first gameplay trailer for Rainbow Skies, its spiritual successor to Rainbow Moon.

A post on the PlayStation Blog from Marcus Pukropski, CEO at SideQuest Studios, introduces us to the gameplay footage. Rainbow Skies centers in on three characters named Damion, Layne and Ashly, all of whom have gotten caught up in a conflict between two superpowers.

Some additions to the game that make it a spiritual sequel to Rainbow Moon are monster taming and the ability to combine skill attacks. Rainbow Skies will also offer a world that is 10 times bigger with more dungeon content to boot. As you can see from the trailer, there are plenty of locations to explore and things to fight! You'll level up your characters, map out dungeons and the world around you and craft your very own adventure.

Expect Rainbow Skies to hit the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita sometime in 2015.
