I honestly believe in life that good people win and evil people lose.  However, after the whole Casey Anthony case sometimes that is hard to believe.

So after reading this story about a new bill passed that allows our government to record every single thing you and I do online really creeps me out and solidifies my stance: Our government needs to stay the hell out of my private life!

According to ZDNet.com:

Last Thursday the U.S. House of Representatives’ judiciary committee passed a bill that makes the online activity of every American available to police and attorneys upon request under the guise of protecting children from pornography.

So it's to fight against pedophiles?  First off, pedophiles are vile, sick, screwed up individuals that require no mercy! But my privacy is very important to me.  I don't get much of it because of what I do.  I'm considered a public figure.  I'm OK with that, I do what I do because it's in my blood.  Here, let ZDNet.com explain:

It has nothing to do with pornography, and was opposed by over 30 civil liberties and consumer advocacy organizations, as well as one brave indie ISP that is urging its customers to do everything they can to protest the invasion of privacy.

Invasion of privacy!  Not cool.  What's wrong with a good ol' fashion subpoena?  If I have broken the law then prove it, don't just use what I do in my personal life against me.

Maybe on the weekends I enjoy some weird freaky sex?  I'm an adult.  Maybe after work I look up marijuana sites?  Maybe it is because I believe it should be legalized?  Ya know slavery was once legal and the thought of it being immoral was just ludicrous.

What I'm saying is stay the hell out of my private life government!  Maybe once you can figure out how to balance a budget (just like every business and family has to do everyday) we can talk.
