Hot Rod Restaurant Re-opens in Downtown Twin
A new restaurant is open in downtown Twin Falls. The old Kelly's building has been completely remodeled and is now "Guppies Hot Rod Grill."
Aaron Gupton has been in the restaurant business in Twin Falls for over a decade and is thrilled to have created "Guppies Hot Rod Grill".
The Hot Rod theme is taken throughout the restaurant with a bar that is built from a 1955 Chevrolet tailgate. Tables in the establishment were decorated by local tattoo artists and built by hot-rod shops.
The restaurant has a large menu that features: burgers, chicken sandwiches and hot dogs. They also have a hot dog eating challenge. If you can eat a 22-inch long, 1-pound hot dog, plate it with 22 ounces of french fries or tots and add a 22-ounce drink in 22 minutes the meal is free. Plus the person will get his photo on a wall and win a prize.
The menu also features four root beer-style drinks from BuckSnort Root Beer in Boise.
