For most of us Christmas is a religious holiday. Therefore we wouldn't take offense to the above window painting.

The religious Christmas nativity display was painted on the windows of the Rupert Post Office until one local resident complained about the religious display at a federal building.

KMVT reports that federal law prohibits religious displays at federal buildings, so the display came down. In its place went a more generic Christmas greeting.

The local business across the street from the post office had the same Christmas nativity displayed in their window after the post office took their painting down.

Do you think the post office needed to take the above display down?
