RV Catches Fire near Mountain Home, Causes Traffic Delays

UPDATE, 12:30 p.m.: The Elmore County Sheriff's Office says that a Nampa man has died in the fire, according to KTVB. The name of the victim has not yet been released. All westbound lanes of travel are now open.

MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho (News Release) – Idaho State Police is at the scene of an RV that caught fire a little after 9 a.m. today on Interstate 84 at milepost 95 near Mountain Home.

Due to the fire, Elmore County Deputies are escorting vehicles through the area with a pilot car in one lane to accommodate motorists.
