SANDPOINT, Idaho (AP) — A man shot and killed Tuesday after firing on Bonner County sheriff's officers and a Sandpoint police officer has been identified as Casey George Alarcon.

An autopsy on Wednesday found the 34-year-old from Sandpoint died of a single gunshot wound. The Kootenai County sheriff's office has been assigned to lead the investigation of the shooting in northern Idaho. Kootenai officials report none of the officers were injured in the Sandpoint shooting and the incident was captured on a video camera worn by one of the officers.

The three officers are on paid administrative leave during the investigation and their names have not been released. Few details have been released about the circumstances surrounding the shooting in Northern Idaho.
