TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) The city of Twin Falls is needing to fill an open position on a commission aimed at preserving the city's history. The city announced the need to fill a spot on the Historic Preservation Commission which "promotes the educational, cultural, and economic benefits of preserving the history and heritage of Twin Falls."

Part of the role the commission plays is identifying, evaluating, designing and preserving building, structures and specific sites that are a part of the city's history. The city is looking for people with some knowledge in architecture, history, archaeology, law, and conservation. The position is a voluntary seat and members are expected to meet the third Monday every month for about an hour.
