Watch For Signs of Dehydration During Summer Playtime
With temperatures reaching over 90 degrees in the Magic Valley it is time to be aware of home much your kids are in the sun and how much water they are really drinking.
It's so easy to give your kids a juice pouch and tell them to have fun playing outside but beware that without water and light weight clothing your kids can become dehydrated very quickly.
Mild to moderate Dehydration may include the following:
- Increased thirst
- Dry mouth
- Tired or sleepy
- Decreased urine output
- Urine is low volume and more yellowish than normal
- Dry skin
Keep your kids hydrated, healthy, and happy this summer!
