An 18 year old girl from Pocatello was involved in a rollover accident on Interstate 86 earlier today.

From the Idaho State Police: On August 7, 2015, at approximately 11:25 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a single-vehicle, rollover crash on Interstate 86 at milepost 8, east of Burley.

Jenna Womack, 18, of Pocatello, was driving eastbound in a 2003 Saturn sedan. Womack had passed a semi when she lost control of the vehicle and then over-corrected. The vehicle went off the shoulder, rolled, and came to rest on its wheels in the median.

Womack's passenger, Micah Cram, 19, of Gooding, was transported via air ambulance to Portneuf Regional Medical Center in Pocatello. It is unknown at this time if he was wearing a seatbelt. Womack was transported via ground ambulance to Cassia Regional Medical Center in Burley. Womack was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The left lane was blocked for emergency vehicles for approximately an hour-and-a half while crews worked to clear the scene.

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
