TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT)-On Monday, the Twin Falls city council unanimously passed the proposal to raise the salary table for city workers.

The raise does not affect every individual employee. It only impacts about 167 out of the 276 city employees, primarily those on the front line, like firemen and policemen. On average, it increases their wage by about 55 cents per hour.

The money for these raises will be coming out of taxes and other areas that had extra unappropriated funds.
