BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Police say two historic items stolen from a Boise museum last month have been recovered and the person suspected of the theft has been identified.  KTVB-TV reports a citizen tip helped police identify the man after Boise Police released surveillance photos of a man taking an antique gun and a tomahawk from the Idaho Museum of Mining. No one has been arrested, but officers are trying to track down the man identified in the video.

The gun is a 1860s Dillinger Pistol that was found in Idaho City during a dig. The tomahawk is a recent handmade replica made with wood and a Rhyolite blade. They are estimated to be worth about $700. The stolen items were recovered in the Twin Falls area.
