The hard-hitting and particle physics-filled graphics of Street Fighter V are running on Epic Games' Unreal Engine 4.

Gamasutra reports that Epic Games confirmed Street Fighter V is being developed using Unreal Engine 4. Rumors indicate that Capcom is roughly 20 percent done with the development of the game, and we're glad to see Epic Games' new engine act as the building blocks to help bring the World Warriors to the current-gen. It's been almost seven years since Street Fighter IV came out (which was developed using a custom engine by Capcom), and with three other spin-off/re-releases, we're glad to see the series finally moving forward. We can't wait to see Dan's Super Taunt on Unreal Engine 4.

With no launch window in sight, Street Fighter V will be launching exclusively for PC and PlayStation 4. Other games that use Unreal Engine 4 include Dead Island 2Kingdom Hearts III and Tekken 7.
