2011

It's not a bad movie at all, and is certainly better than the newest Halloween Ends film. Man, did that one suck!

For me personally, I will always remember 2011 as the year my best friend asked me to marry him in the sweetest, most kick ass way.  I said yes, and soon I will remember 2012 as the year I married his sweet ass! However, there were some other worldly highlights I can recall from 2011, like the world ending not once, but twice, Bin Laden's death, and a few weather disasters...

Virginia Commonwealth University’s storybook run from play-in game to Final Four ended Saturday night, as Butler will be crashing the NCAA’s title game for the second year in a row. Shelvin Mack paced the Bulldogs with 24 points on five for six three-point shooting, and Butler downed VCU 70-62 in a hard fought battle that was closer than its final score.

The 2011 Grammys may have been Gaga’s show, but people actually won some awards, too. Biggest shocker (maybe?) was unknown songstress Esperanza Spalding making enemies with a nation of Justin Bieber fans by taking Best New Artist. And Lady Antebellum winning pretty much everything else. Here’s a good chunk of the winners, and photos from many of the performances.

Not only is this picture now on my desktop, but The Fighters of Foo have wrapped up their new album, which features a bass and an accordion duo...I'm sold!
